"Filter bubbles",generated and boosted by recommendation algorithms for the purpose of capital games among various media platforms, are characterized by individuals'selective acceptance of information.Although"filter bubbles"may provide an entirely new information scenario for reaching a consensus on mainstream values, they will induce risks and challenges to social values, such as dissolving the identity, exacerbating the bias, and promoting differentiation, due to information narrowing, cognitive entrenchment, and group polarization. Therefore, there is an urgent need to deal with such problems by optimizing recommendation algorithms to enhance the leading power of mainstream values, regulating the operation of platforms to reconstruct diversified information recipes, and improving the media literacy of the public to eliminate the barriers to the dissemination of mainstream values.
