Telling Chinese stories well in English is an important teaching goal in foreign language teaching and narrative pedagogy is an effective way to train students to tell Chinese stories well in English.Taking narrative pedagogy as a fundamental teaching strategy,it explores how to enhance students'ability to tell Chinese stories in English through the implementation of narrative pedagogy in foreign language teaching from the dimensions of narrative content construction,narrative competence cultivation,narrative skill enhancement,and narrative com-petence evaluation.
