Methods of Integrating Labor Education into Public English Teaching in Vocational Colleges
In response to the common problems in the integration of labor education and public English teaching in current vocational colleges,such as simple superposition,lack of overall planning,and biased assessment,this paper explores the key integration points of labor concept cultivation and English ability cultivation,and proposes that teachers should at first transform their roles to actively engage in integrated education exploration;then explore labor elements to enrich integrated education methods and approaches;while at the same time develop extracurricular activities to expand integrated education,in order to cultivate labor concepts in English teaching,improve English learning effectiveness in labor practice communication,and truly integrate labor education into the public English teaching system of vocational colleges.
