Research on the Digital Literacy of New Rural Leaders and Its Cultivation Path
As pivotal forces in rural re vitalization, the level of digital literacy among rural leaders directly impacts the effectiveness of implementing the digital countryside strategy. To investigate the current status of digital literacy among rural leaders, this paper employs literature review, surveys, and interviews to define the concept of digital literacy for rural leaders, and constructs an indicator system for assessing their overall digital literacy across three dimensions:digital skills, digital communication, and digital security, with 14 specific indicators. The research findings reveal that the digital skill literacy of rural leaders is relatively low and does not meet the demands of local industrial development. While digital communication literacy is generally good, but it remains at a basic application level.Participants possess a certain degree of digital security awareness but need to improve their ability to identify online risks.Although channels for acquiring digital literacy training exist, the cultivation system remains underdeveloped.Based on these findings, several cultivation paths are proposed:enriching scenarios to promote the digital transformation of agriculture and rural areas;fostering a multi-coordinated cultivation system through collaboration between government, schools, and enterprises;combining selection and cultivation to implement differentiated digital literacy education;and selecting exemplary cases to create platforms for mutual learning and assistance in digital literacy.
