Research on the vibration characteristics of GIS with the effect of complex high-order harmonics
The new power system, characterized by distinct source-grid-load properties compared to traditional power systems, includes harmonics and even ultra-high harmonics. These harmonics can affect the vibration characteristics of the gas-insulated switchgear(GIS).This study begins with an analysis of the types and components of the harmonics generated by the source, grid, and load sides when integrated into the new power system. Then,a test platform for mea-suring the vibration characteristics of GIS under harmonic excitation is built. The study then investigates experimental research on the vibration characteristics of GIS under different harmonic current excitations, considering the specific harmonic characteristics present in power systems. The results indicate that the vibration amplitude of the GIS bus shell displays a linear distribution along the axial direction, with the vibration magnitude being inversely proportional to the end stiffness at the ends. When multiple harmonic currents are present, the interaction of harmonics-through their sum, difference, and doubling frequencies, enriches the vibration frequency spectrum, making it easier for GIS to produce mechanical resonance.
