Research on high-temperature corrosion mechanism of high-alkali coal combusted in power station boilers and preventive measures
This study addresses the rapid thinning of the water-cooled wall in a power station boiler, leading to pipe leakage when blending Xinjiang high-alkali coal.A comprehensive inspection of the furnace's water-cooled wall, along with metallurgical analysis and coal quality testing results, identifies the issue as typical high-temperature corrosion of the sulfate type.Corresponding adjustments and preventive control measures are proposed, focusing on the management of incoming coal, coal blending, operational optimization, and maintenance management.Comparative analysis over one maintenance season indicates that the corrosion rate has been effectively controlled.
