Territorial Development Suitability Evaluation of Urban Agglomeration Based on Ecological Priorities and Future Scenario Simulation——A Case Ctudy of Urban Agglomeration in the Min Delta
Urban agglomerations have become an important carrier of regional space organizations. In this study,a dynamic evaluation framework of coupled scenario simulation was established from three dimensions:natural environment, society and economy, and future development suitability, and the territorial development suitability of the Min Delta was evaluated by methods and techniques such as hierarchical analysis,meta-automata simulation, and multi-element spatial superposition. The results show that the percentages of suitable, basically suitable, basically unsuitable and unsuitable areas in the study area are 9.84%,27.71%,27.58%and 34.87%,respectively,and that the development suitability of the Min Delta region decreases from coastal to inland, with the distribution of suitable and basically suitable areas showing a center-periphery pattern.Xiamen City has the highest percentage of suitable development areas(18.95%),while the suitable areas in each county and city in Quanzhou City exceeds 10%,and the development suitability of Zhangzhou City is relatively low.The area of basically unsuitable and unsuitable zones in the ecological conservation area of Min Delta accounts for 79.35%and 92.80%,respectively,and it is highly overlapped between the zones with high suitability and the key development zones in the main functional zoning of Fujian Province. It is a key issue to optimize the territorial spatial structure of urban agglomerations in the Min Delta region by responding to the future demand for land and the development potential and advantages of each county and city.
