Metal-Organic Framework UiO-66 Encapsulates Boric Acid Carbon Dot Fluo-rescent Material for Baicalin Detection
In this paper,UiO-66 metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)encapsulated woth boric acid carbon dots(PBA-CDs)were synthesized as high-efficiency fluorescent probes(UiO-66/PBA-CDs)for the specific recog-nition of target molecules, and were used for the sensitive detection of baicalin(BAI).Incorporating PBA-CDs into UiO-66 with high specific surface area enabled the capture and recognition of BAI,thereby avoiding the agglomeration quenching of carbon dots and improving the sensitivity of fluorescence detection. In order to ver-ify the selectivity of UiO-66/PBA-CDs,comparative experiments were conducted with other drug molecules and amino acids containing o-dihydroxyl groups, confirming the good selectivity of UiO-66/PBA-CDsfor BAI.Furthermore, the fluorescence quantitative method demonstrated a satisfactory linear detection range of 10 to 70 nmol/L.The quantitative analysis of BAI content in wolfberry using the standard addition method yielded accu-rate results with high recovery rates, affirming the potential of the fluorescent probe developed in this study for the detection of BAI in complex drugs.
