Spatiotemporal Variation Analysis of Precipitation Concentration Degree and Precipitation Concentrated Periods in Ningxia
Based on daily precipitation data from 12 meteorological stations in Ningxia from 1971 to 2020,this study employed Kriging spatial interpolation,Empirical Orthogonal Function(EOF)decomposition, and linear trend analysis to examine the spatiotemporal characteristics of Precipitation Concentration Degree(PCD)and Precipitation Concentration Period(PCP).The findings indicate that spatially,PCD values decrease progressively from north to south, and there is a slight trend for PCP to commence earlier in the south, although the changes are minimal. The overall trends of PCD and PCP across the Ningxia region are consistent;however, discrepancies exist between the northern and central-southern parts, with more pronounced changes in the north.Temporally, over the past five decades,PCD has shown no significant trend, whereas PCP has experienced a slight delay.
