Study on Enrichment Law of Rare Earth Elements in Raw Coal and Its By-Products in Coal-Fired Power Plants in Ningdong Base
Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS)was used to determine the mass ratios of rare earth elements in the raw coal and by-products of Yuanyang Lake Power Plant and Maliantai Power Plant in NINGDONG Base, and to investigate the enrichment pattern of rare earth elements. The results showed that the enrichment coefficients of rare earth elements in the raw coal of Yuanyang Lake Power Plant were normal;the enrichment coefficients of La,Ce,and Y in the raw coal of Maliantai Power Plant were mildly enriched, and the enrichment coefficients of the rest of the rare earth elements were normal;light rare earths in the raw coal of Yuanyang Lake Power Plant and Maliantai Power Plant were obviously enriched compared with medium rare earths and heavy rare earths;the rare earth elements in the raw coal of Yuanyang Lake Power Plant and Maliantai Power Plant were enriched in the slag and coarse ash after combustion;and in the fine ash of Yuanyang Lake Power Plant and Maliantai Power Plant, and the rare earth elements in the coarse ash were enriched in the coal cinder and fine ash. After coal combustion, rare earth elements are mainly enriched in coal cinder, coarse ash, fine ash,and rare earth elements are more likely to be enriched in fine ash and coarse ash, followed by coal cinder;rare earth elements in coal by-products have a similar distribution pattern to that in raw coal,i.e.,light rare earths are relatively enriched in comparison with medium rare earths and heavy rare earths.
