Preparation of Graphene-MXene Photothermal Desalination embranes and Synergistic Enhancement of Interfacial Photo-vapor Desalination Performance
Interfacial solar evaporation desalination is a low-cost,environmentally friendly and efficient seawater desalination technique. In this paper, the graphene-MXene photothermal desalination membranes with a 2D-2D crosslinked structure were synthesized by self-assembly.The microstructure, morphology, wettability, light absorption characteristics, and their relationships with the photothermal evaporation desalination performance of membranes with different thicknesses were investigated. Results indicate that under 1 kW/m2 solar irradiation, the optimal graphene-MXene photothermal desalination membrane reaches a maximum evaporation rate of 1.68 kg/(m2·h)with an efficiency of 85.38%in 0.2 mol/L saline solution.
