Analysis of Growth,Photosynthesis,Yield, and Quality Differences of Different Rice Varieties in Sandy Saline-Alkali Land
In order to explore the growth and development status of different rice varieties in saline-alkali land and to select suitable rice varieties for local planting, comparative experiments were conducted to analyze the differences in growth, photosynthesis, yield, and quality among seven rice varieties:Ningjing 56,Ningda 6,Zhongke 8,Ningda 16,Fuyuan 4,Ningjing 51,and Qiuyou 88 under subsurface drainage conditions. The results showed that soil pH and total salt content significantly decreased after rice harvest, with a desalination rate of 57.7%in the soil depth of 0 to 20 cm and 33.3%in the soil depth of 20 to 40 cm.The contents of soil organic matter, alkaline nitrogen, and available potassium significantly increased after rice harvest. The Ningjing 56 rice variety exhibited better growth indicators in sandy saline-alkali land, while the Qiuyou 88 rice variety showed better photosynthetic indicators. The Fuyuan 4 rice variety demonstrated better yield and quality indicators in sandy saline-alkali land.Fuyuan 4,Ningjing 56,and Qiuyou 88 were the three rice varieties that achieved higher yields in this experiment and also met the quality standards for high-quality rice, making them suitable for cultivation in the sandy saline-alkali land of Yueyahu,Ningxia.
