微咸水灌溉是解决干旱地区水资源紧缺的有效措施,适宜的矿化度是微咸水安全利用的重要指标。为探究西瓜光合、产量及品质对微咸水矿化度的响应机理,采用对比试验方法,设置了 7 种不同矿化度的灌溉水,其矿化度分别为 0。98,1。80,2。48,3。27,4。04,0。41,0。32 g/L。结果表明,(1)矿化度 2。48 g/L是土壤电导率发生变化的阈值。各处理下 20 cm深度处的土壤电导率均有所增加,矿化度为 4。04 g/L的微咸水灌溉下土壤电导率增长幅度最大,相较于黄河水(矿化度为 0。32 g/L)灌溉,电导率增长了 78。7%。(2)西瓜开花坐果期至成熟期,灌溉水矿化度>2。48 g/L时,西瓜日均耗水量受到不同程度的抑制,相较于黄河水灌溉,矿化度为 4。04 g/L的处理日均耗水量降幅最大,为 45。2%。(3)微咸水灌溉会造成气孔限制,进而影响西瓜蒸腾作用,抑制光合作用。(4)微咸水灌溉下西瓜减产明显,与黄河水灌溉相比,矿化度为 4。04 g/L的微咸水灌溉下,西瓜减产 20。5%。(5)微咸水灌溉可提高果实品质。矿化度为 2。48 g/L的微咸水灌溉下,西瓜可溶性固形物含量最高(13。05%);矿化度为 4。04 g/L的微咸水灌溉下,西瓜维生素C含量比黄河水灌溉的处理高 8。3%。矿化度为 2。48 g/L的微咸水是香山地区西瓜微咸水灌溉矿化度的阈值。
Effect of Salinity of Irrigation Water on Quality and Yield of Watermelon under Gravel Mulch
Brackish water irrigation is an effective measure to solve the shortage of water resources in arid areas.Appropriate salinity is an important index for the safe utilization of brackish water.Aiming at the effect of brackish water irrigation salinity on the growth,quality and yield of watermelon in the arid zone of central Ningxia,a field experiment with different salinity gradients was carried out.In order to explore the response mechanism of photosynthesis,yield and quality of watermelon to the salinity of brackish water,a comparative experiment of irrigation water salinity at 0.98,1.80,2.48,3.27,4.04,0.41,0.32 g/L was set up.The results showed that:(1)2.48 g/L salinity was the threshold of soil electrical conductivity change.The electrical conductivity of 20 cm soil depth under each treatment increased,and the soil conductivity under 4.04 g/L salinity brackish water irrigation increased the most,which was 78.7%higher than that of the Yellow River water(0.32 g/L)irrigation;(2)The daily water consumption of watermelon was inhibited to varying degrees when the salinity of irrigation water was>2.48 g/L from flowering and fruit setting stage to maturity stage.Compared with the Yellow River water irrigation,the daily water consumption of 4.04 g/L treatment decreased by 45.2%.(3)Brackish water irrigation can cause stomatal limitation,thereby affecting watermelon transpiration and inhibiting photosynthesis;(4)The yield of watermelon decreased significantly under brackish water irrigation.Compared with the Yellow River water irrigation,the yield of watermelon decreased by 20.5%under 4.04 g/L brackish water irrigation.(5)Brackish water irrigation can improve fruit quality.Under 2.48 g/L brackish water irrigation,the watermelon soluble solids content was the highest(13.05%);under 4.04 g/L brackish water irrigation,the watermelon vitamin C content was 8.3%higher than the Yellow River water irrigation.2.48 g/L brackish water is the threshold of brackish water irrigation in Xiangshan area.The research results can provide support and reference for the safe utilization of brackish water in the arid zone of central Ningxia.
