An Experiment on Cuttage Seedling of Tamarix Hohenackeri Bunge
An experiment on cuttage seedling of tamarix hohenackeri bunge was made with different treatments such as different bases,different place cuttings and cuttings with different maturity to seek the best approach for cultivation of large number of seedlings in short time with low cost,simplicity and easiness of demonstration.The result shows that the best results,namely,taking root quickly,having more fibrous roots and survival rate being higher,were gained respectively by softwood cutting with a matrix formulation of peat： perlite： garden soil =2：3：5 and a chemical treatment of 50 mg/L of NAA＋25 mg/L of IBA and by hardwood cutting with a base cutting of high lignification.
