Characteristics and Protection Status of Ancient and Famous Trees in Yimen County
The second national survey data of ancient and famous trees in Yimen County in 2018 showed that there were 1460 ancient single trees in Yimen County,belonging to 31 families,62 genera and 82 species,among which lacquer tree family,Fagaceae family,Moraceae family and Ulmaceae family had hundreds of ancient trees;there were 45 first-class ancient trees,282 second-class ancient trees,and 1133 third-class ancient trees;1 447 ancient trees were distributed in rural areas,and 13 were distributed in urban areas;the growth environment of ancient trees in Yimen County was relatively good,and the number of normal growth was predominant.According to the composition of ancient tree species,ancient tree level,distribution,growth and protection status in Yimen County,this paper puts forward the problems existing in the protection of ancient trees and corresponding protection measures.
