Advances and Prospects in Wolfberry Breeding and Cultivation Research
Wolfberry breeding and cultivation isa fundamental discipline of wolfberry research,and the source and foundation of high-quality development of wolfberry industry.The breeding work has realized the transformation from excellent Lycium barbarum germplasm resources to the industrial-scale production and application of Lycium barbarum varieties,and the innovation and development of cultivation technology is the key to improve the quality and efficiency of the industry.With the progress of science and technology and the development of wolfberry industry,wolfberry breeding and cultivation have achieved revolutionary innovation and development.The sequencing and analysis of Lycium barbarum genome has promoted the transformation of Lycium barbarum breeding technology from traditional breeding to molecular assisted precision breeding.The innovation of cultivation technology and equipment,such as wolfberry seedling rapid propagation,hedge wall cultivation,shaping and pruning,water and fertilizer integration,green pest prevention and control,research and development of special machinery,integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy etc.,have provided efficient technology and equipment support for the transformation and upgrade of wolfberry industry.Therefore,on the basis of summarizing the new advances and achievements in the research of Lycium barbarum breeding and cultivation in recent years,the future development direction of Lycium barbarum breeding and cultivation is prospected,in order to provide reference for the planning of wolfberry discipline and conducting of scientific research.
