Water Consumption Characteristics of Maize under Varying Drip Irrigation Levels in Light Lime Soilat Eastern Foot of Helan Mountain in Ningxia and Their Impact on Crop Yield
Aiming at the effects of drip irrigation on the water consumption characteristics and yield of maize in light lime soilat the eastern foot of Helan Mountain in Ningxia,Ningdan 40 was used as the test maize to study the effects of different drip irrigation amounts on the water consumption characteristics and yield of maize. The results showed that when the irrigation quota of corn was 840~4 710 m3·hm-2,the water consumption was 2 722~15 479 m3·hm-2,the irrigation water utilization rate was 3.43~9.71 m3·kg-1,and the drip irrigation amount was 3 765 m3·hm-2,the corn yield was the highest.16.57 t·hm-2;When drip irrigation exceeds 3 765 m3·hm-2,corn yields decline. Therefore, the optimal irrigation quota of light lime soil corn at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain in Ningxia is 3 765 m3·hm-2.The research results will provide a theoretical basis for irrigating maize in light lime soil at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain in Ningxia.
