Identification of Over-Summer Planting Adaptability of Thick-Skinned Muskmelon in Large Arch Shed
Six thick-skinned muskmelon varieties were selected to be planted over summer after spring crop harvesting in large arch shed,and the growth and development,fruit quality and yield indexes of each variety were comprehensively compared.The results showed that F3800 had the best comprehensive performance,with a yield of 2 857.53 kg·667-1·m-2,central soluble solid content of 15.0%,and a resistance to powdery mildew.This was followed by Ningtian No.1,with a yield of 2 499.13 kg·667-1·m-2,central soluble solids of 11.9%and a moderate resistance to powdery mildew.They are suitable for planting over summer in large arch shed.
