A Study on Control of Oat Aphids by Different Biological Agents and Application Methods
In order to screen out the best biological agents and application methods for controlling oat aphids, the effects of different biological agents and application methods on field control of oat aphids were measured. The results showed that 0.3%azadirachin emulsion sprayed on the leaves had the best control effect on aphid. The control effect was 76.82%after 14 days, which was higher than that of 5%imidacloprid emulsion(75.98%).14 days after application, soil application of Metarhizium anisopliae+Beauveria anisopliae foliar spray, soil application of Beauverhizium anisopliae+Beauveria anisopliae foliar spray had better control effect on oat aphids,79.65%and 76.12%,respectively,which were higher than other application methods. It is suggested to choose 0.3%azadirachtin emulsion instead of chemical agents to control oat aphids at the initial stage of aphids emergence. It is also possible to apply Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae in soil on the basis of spraying Beauverhizium bassiana on leaf surface to control oat aphids, which has better control effect.
