Objective To analyze the development trajectory and influencing factors of fear of childbirth(FOC)in primipara,to provide theoretical guidance for medical workers to identify high-risk groups and implement precise intervention. Methods The subjects of the study were selected from the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University from December 2022 to September 2023.At 14 weeks of pregnancy, the general information questionnaire, delivery attitude questionnaire, perceived social support scale, and trait coping style questionnaire were used to evaluate primiparous women's basic information, delivery fear, social support, and coping styles. The delivery fear levels of primiparous women were followed up and evaluated at 22,30 and 38 weeks of pregnancy. The latent category growth model was used to identify the development trajectory of FOC.And analyze the influencing factors of different development trajectories. Results There were three heterogeneous trajectories of FOC,namely,"constant FOC"(10.3%),"rising FOC"(26.5%)and"relieved FOC"(63.2%).Taking the group with relieved FOC as the reference group, factors affecting the constant FOC were education level of high school or below(OR=5.287),per capita monthly income of the family<2000 yuan(OR=8.528),unplanned pregnancy(OR=3.602),spouse being an only child(OR=3.712),and less social support(OR=0.965);Artificial conception(OR=13.837),poor relationship with spouse(OR=9.973),low social support(OR=0.926),and negative coping(OR=1.170)were the influencing factors for the increased FOC group. Conclusion Education level, family per capita income, unplanned pregnancy, spouse being an only child, conception method, relationship with spouse, social support, and negative coping style were the influencing factors of the heterogeneous development trajectory of FOC.
