The Role of miRNA in Diagnosis,Treatment and Prognosis of Pancreatic Cancer
The lack of an early specific diagnosis of pancreatic cancer(PC),coupled with its resistance to most available treatment options, makes PC a clinical challenge.Currently, the therapeutic methods and efficacy for PC are limited, thus requiring the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies based on under-standing the molecular mechanisms related to PC progression.MicroRNA(miRNA)was a small RNA of coding by regulating a variety of protein expression in the process of translation after affecting cell differentiation,bio-logical development, development of tumor, etc. With the continuous development of modern biotechnology,it has been found that miRNA has high stability and tissue specificity, which meets the requirements of becoming an early biomarker and prognostic factor. In addition, understanding the role and mechanism of miRNA in PC may serve as a new approach for the treatment of pancreatic cancer at the molecular level in the future.There-fore,this article provides a review of the application of miRNA in PC biomarkers, prognostic markers, and clini-cal target therapy, aiming to provide research directions and ideas for solving PC problems in the future.
