Investigation on the Current Status and Influencing Factors of Metabolic Related Fatty Liver Disease among the Population Undergoing Physical Examination in Yinchuan City
Objective To investigate the current situation of metabolic associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)in the physical examination population in Yinchuan, analyze its clinical characteristics and risk factors, and provide a reference basis for in-depth intervention, prevention, and control work. Methods The health checkups of permanent residents of Yinchuan City at the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from January 2020 to December were used as the study population, and the test results of general conditions and laboratory indicators were collected and statistically analyzed. Results A total of 12 865 physical examinations personnel were included, and 4 155 patients with MAFLD(32.30%),including 3 122 males(41.60%)and 1 033 females(19.27%),the prevalence of males was higher than that of females(χ2=436.104,P<0.01).The prevalence rate of women(40.97%)was higher than that of men(31.47%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The differences in triglycerides, total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein,high-density lipoprotein, alanine aminotransferase, and uric acid in the MAFLD group were significant compared to the non-MAFLD group(P all<0.05).Multifactorial Logistic regression analysis showed that males, aspartate aminotransferase, and creatinine were independent risk factors for MAFLD,and the differences were statistically significant(P all<0.05).Conclusion The prevalence of MAFLD is high in the Yinchuan city physical examination population, with a predominance of males and obese individuals, and males, aspartate aminotransferase, and creatinine are the influencing factors of MAFLD.
