Expression of Circula RNA Hsa_circ_0045800 in Peripheral Blood of Patients with Primary Sj?gren's Syndrome
Objective To investigate the expression of hsa_circ_0045800 in peripheral blood of patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome(pSS)and evaluate its value in the diagnosis of pSS.Methods The changes of circRNA in peripheral blood of 4 pSS patients and 4 controls were selected for microarray screening.RT-qPCR was used to verify the differences in the expression of hsa_circ_0045800 in peripheral blood of 50 pSS patients and 50 controls.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to evaluate the diagnostic value of hsa_circ_0045800 expression level in peripheral blood for pSS.Results The expression level of hsa_circ_0045800 in peripheral blood of pSS patients was higher than that of healthy control group,and the expression level of hsa_circ_0045800 in pSS patients after treatment was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05);The expression level of hsa_circ_0045800 in pSS patients was positively correlated with disease assessment index(ESSDAI),ANA titer and erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)(P<0.05);ROC curve showed that the expression level of serum hsa_circ_0045800 had a good diagnostic efficacy for pSS,with an area under the curve(AUC)of 0.927,a sensitivity of 74%,and a specificity of 94%.Conclusion Hsa_circ_0045800 may be related to the occurrence and development of pSS,and has the potential to be a biomarker for the diagnosis,evaluation of disease severity and prognosis of pSS.
