Therapeutic Effects of Lumbar-Pelvis-Hip Repositioning Maneuvers on 30 Cases of Adult Degenerative Scoliosis
Objective Through the clinical observation of the treatment of adult degenerative scoliosis(ADS)with Lumbar-Pelvis-Hip rearrangement, the therapeutic effect of ADS was discussed. Methods From January 2022 to December 2022,A total of 30 ADS patients treated in the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 15 patients in each group. The observation group was treated with Lumbar-Pelvis-Hip repositioning maneuvers, the control group was treated with traditional massage. After one course of treatment, the changes in spinal Cobb angle and sacral slanted angle in X-ray films of patients before and after treatment were measured and compared. The visual analog scale(VAS)and Oswestry disability index(ODI)were used to evaluate the changes in pain and the degree of functional impairment in the two groups of patients before and after treatment. Results The Cobb angle and sacral slanted angle in the X-ray images of the observation group decreased compared with before treatment, and the VAS and ODI scores were lower than before treatment(P all<0.05).After treatment, the Cobb angle and sacral slanted angle in the X-ray images of the control group patients were lower than the pre-treatment angle, and the VAS and ODI scores were lower than before treatment(P all<0.05).After treatment, the Cobb angle and sacral slanted angle in the X-ray images of the observation group were smaller than those of the control group, and the VAS and ODI scores were lower than those of the control group(P all<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of ADS,Lumbar-Pelvis-Hip repositioning maneuvers has more advantages than traditional massage in improving patient signs, relieving pain, and improving dysfunction, and is an effective treatment method.
