Expression and Significance of Angiopoietin-like Protein 4 and Hematopoietic Related PBX Interaction Protein in Cervical Cancer Patients
Objective To explore the correlation between the expression of angiopoietin-like protein 4(ANGPTL4)and hematopoietic related PBX interacting protein(HPIP)with the clinical pathology and prognosis of cervical cancer. Methods 116 cervical cancer patients who were treated from January 2019 to February 2020 were selected for experimental research, and their cervical cancer tissues were selected as controls.Immunohistochemical methods were used to detect the expression of ANGPTL4 and HPIP proteins.Differences in the expression of ANGPTL4 and HPIP proteins in cervical cancer tissues with different clinical characteristics were analyzed,as well as the relationship with patient prognosis. Results The positive expression rates of ANGPTL4 and HPIP proteins in cervical cancer were 65.52%and 62.93%,respectively,which were significantly higher than those in adjacent tissues(P<0.001).The positive expression rate of ANGPTL4 protein in cervical cancer tissues with a maximum diameter of ≥3 cm was 77.78%,which was significantly higher than that in cervical cancer tissues with a maximum diameter of<3 cm(P<0.001).The positive expression rates of ANGPTL4 protein and HPIP protein in stage Ⅱ cervical cancer tissue of FIGO staging were 78.57%and 75.71%,respectively,which were significantly higher than those in stage Ⅰ tissue(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of ANGPTL4 protein in cervical cancer tissue with vascular infiltration was 93.33%,which was significantly higher than that in cervical cancer tissue without vascular infiltration(P<0.001).The median survival time of patients with negative expression of ANGPTL4 and HPIP protein was 38 months(95%CI:37.02-38.98),which was significantly higher than patients with positive expression of ANGPTL4 and HPIP protein, positive expression of ANGPTL4,and positive expression of HPIP protein(P all<0.05).Conclusion The expression of ANGPTL4 and HPIP proteins in cervical cancer tissue is significantly upregulated, the expression of ANGPTL4 protein is related to the maximum diameter of the tumor,FIGO stage, vascular infiltration, the expression of HPIP protein is related to FIGO stage.Patients with negative expression of ANGPTL4 and HPIP proteins in cervical cancer have a longer survival time.
