Research Progress of Anatomical Structure of Alveolar Antral Artery Based on Cone-beam CT
It has become a consensus among experts that there is a direct relationship between the blood supply of the lateral wall of the maxillary sinus and the risk of bleeding in lateral wall openings for maxillary sinus floor elevation.Howe ver, there are some discrepancies in the measurements of the data related to the anatomical structure of the alveolar antral artery. This paper provides guidance for the clinic in the performance of lateral wall openings for sinus floor elevation on avoiding the risk of bleeding by reviewing the studies of the anatomical structure of the alveolar antral artery based on cone-beam CT in the previous literature.
