Correlation of Follicular SCF,SDF-1 and Fat-soluble Vitamins with the Number of High-Quality Embryos and Outcome of in Vitro Fertilization-Embryo Transfer
Objective To study the correlation of follicular stem cell factor(SCF),stromal cell derived factor-1(SDF-1)and fat-soluble vitamins with the number of high-quality embryos and outcome of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET).Methods A total of 105 patients underwent IVF-ET were enrolled, and classified into two groups according to their pregnancy outcomes, pregnant group and non-pregnant group. The clinical data of patients were collected. The sex hormone levels were detected on the day of retrieving ova.Levels of SCF,SDF-1 and vitamin D in follicular fluid were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.High performance liquid chromatography was used to detect the levels of vitamin A and E in follicular fluid.Pearson analysis was used to discuss the correlation between the levels of SCF,SDF-1,and fat-soluble vitamins in follicular fluid and the number of high-quality embryos.Logistic regression equation was used to screen the influencing factors of clinical pregnancy. Results The number of high-quality embryos and the levels of SCF,SDF-1 and vitamin A,D and E in follicular fluid were higher in pregnant group than in non-pregnant group(P all<0.05).Pearson analysis showed that the levels of SCF,SDF-1,vitamin A,D and E in follicular fluid were positively correlated with the number of quality embryos(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression showed that the levels of SCF,SDF-1,vitamins A,D and E in follicular fluid were still associated with the number of quality embryos after excluding the factors of age, body mass index(BMI),duration of infertility, days and total number of gonadotropin(Gn),number of eggs obtained, and number of embryos(P all<0.05).Logistic regression analysis denoted that the number of high-quality embryos,SCF,SDF-1,vitamin A,D,and E levels were all influential factors for clinical pregnancy(P all<0.05).Conclusion The levels of SCF,SDF-1 and fat-soluble vitamins in follicular fluid are closely related to embryonic development, and their elevated levels are beneficial to clinical pregnancy, providing a reference for early evaluation of IVF-ET outcomes.
