The application of sonohysterography combined with transvaginal ultrasound in the separation of moderate to severe uterine adhesions
Objective To investigate the application value of sonohysterography(SHG)combined with transvaginal ultrasound in hysteroscopic adhesiolysis of moderate to severe intrauterine adhesion(IUA).Methods 108 patients with IUA were selected by three-dimensional ultrasonography and the patients were divided into the study group(n=54)and the control group(n=54).The study group underwent separation of uterine adhesions under SHG combined ultrasound guidance, and the control group used simple separation of uterine adhesions, comparing the two groups'general information,IUA graduation, operation time, intraoperative bleeding,complica-tions,increased depth of the uterine cavity, changes in menstruation, recovery of the uterine cavity morphology in the first month after the operation, and the rate of uterine adhesion reoccurrence. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the distribution of moderate and severe IUA between the two groups(P>0.05);the operative time and intraoperative bleeding in the study group were low-er than those in the control group(P<0.05);the postoperative IUA scores and the incidence of the second surgery were lower in the study group than those in the control group(P<0.05);and there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of surgical complications, increase in depth of the uterine cavity, change in menstrual flow, and uterine re-adhesion in the patients of the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion SHG combined with transvaginal ultrasound could shorten operative time, reduce intraoperative bleeding, and decrease the incidence of secondary procedures for separation of moderate to severe uterine adhesions.
