Objective To explore the efficacy of Yupingfeng granules combined with Montelukast sodium in the treatment of children with chronic cough,and the effect on the immune function,macrophages chemotaxis protein-4(MCP-4),macrophage derived chemokine(MDC).Methods A total of 102 children with chronic cough were collected and the patients were divided into control group(n=51)and observation group(n=51)according to random envelope method.The control group was treated with Montelukast sodium,and the observation group was treated with Montelukast sodium combined with Yupingfeng granules.The clinical efficacy,pulmonary func-tion indicators peak expiratory flow(PEF),forced vital capacity(FVC),maximum voluntary ventilation(MVV),forced expiratory vol-ume in one second(FEV1),immune function indicators differentiation cluster 3(CD3+),differentiation cluster 8(CD8+),differentia-tion cluster 4(CD4+),CD4+/CD8+,serum inflammatory factors immunoglobulin E(IgE),MCP-4,interleukin-4(IL-4),MDC and eosinophil cationic protein(ECP)levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results After treat-ment,the total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 98.04％(50/51),which was higher than that of the control group 84.31％(43/51),the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of FVC,FEV1,MVV and PEF in observation group were higher than those in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of CD4+/CD8+,CD4+and CD3+in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the level of CD8+was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-4,IgE,MCP-4,ECPand MDC in observation group were lower than those in control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Yupingfeng granules combined with Montelukast sodium is effective in the treatment of children with chronic cough,which can inhibit the expression of inflam-matory factors,improve the immune function and improve the lung function.
