Objective To analyze the influencing factors of perimenopausal syndrome in perimenopausal women in the southern mountainous area of Ningxia,and provide a basis for the prevention and health care of perimenopausal women in rural area of Ningxia.Methods A multi-stage sampling method was used to select two counties in the southern mountainous area of Ningxia,with two town-ships in each county and two villages in each township.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 395 women aged 40～55.The modi-fied Kupperman index was used to score their symptoms,and the influencing factors of perimenopausal syndrome were analyzed.Results Among the 395 women,162 were diagnosed with perimenopausal syndrome,with a prevalence rate of 41.0％.The proportion of mild cases was 15.9％(63 women),The proportion of moderate cases was 23.1％(91 women),and The proportion of severe cases was 2.1％(8 women).Influencing factors of perimenopausal syndrome included age,parity,consumption of sweets,and intake of dairy and soy products.Conclusion Health education and targeted interventions should be conducted for rural perimenopausal women to enhance their self-care awareness.
