Comparative analysis of inflammatory factor expression in patients with multi-drug-resistant/rifampicin-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis and rifampicin-sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis
Objective To analyze the expression of inflammatory factor levels in patients with multidrug/rifampicin resistant pulmonary tuberculosis(MDR/RR-PTB)and rifampicin sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis(RS-PTB).Methods 102 patients with MDR/RR-PTB and 170 patients with RS-PTB were selected for retrospective analysis. Results In the MDR/RR-PTB and RS-PTB2 groups, the percentage of patients with normal white blood cell counts, absolute neutrophil values, and platelet counts was higher, the percentage of patients with increased ESR was higher, and the percentage of patients with elevated CRP,PCT,and IL-6 was higher. The ESR,CRP,PCT,and IL-6 levels in both groups were significantly higher than the normal reference values. The comparison of the two groups of patients revealed that there was a statistical increase in the expression of CRP levels(P<0.05),and no statistically signif-icant increase in the expression of ESR,PCT,and IL-6(P>0.05).Conclusion The peripheral blood leukocyte counts of patients in the MDR/RR-PTB and RS-PTB groups are usually normal, and the expression of ESR,CRP,PCT and IL-6 are significantly higher. The expression of CRP in patients of MDR/RR-PTB group is higher than that in patients of RS-PTB group, and the infection is more serious in patients of MDR/RR-PTB group.
