Objective To investigate the effect of attitude-definition-open-plan-implementation(ADOPT)model in adult urogenic sepsis. Methods 96 patients with adult urogenic sepsis were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the admission number, with 48 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given ADOPT model based on the routine nursing. The intervention duration of both groups was one month. The calcitonin(PCT),C-re-active protein(CRP),white blood cell count(WBC),creatinine(Cr),Adult health self-management ability scale(AHSMSRS)score,Health belief scale(CHBMS)score,Health promotion lifestyle scale(HPLP-Ⅱ)score and compliance of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the levels of PCT,CRP,WBC and Cr were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05).The improvement of four indexes in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of four AHSMSRS in the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05).After intervention, the AHSMSRS scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).The CHBMS and HPLP-Ⅱ scores of the two groups after intervention were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05).The CHBMS and HPLP-Ⅱ scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group after intervention(P<0.05).The proportion of complete and partial compliance was 100.00%in observation group and 85.42%in control group, which was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion ADOPT based nursing intervention in a-dult urogenic sepsis can reduce inflammatory response, improve self-management ability, health awareness and compliance.
