Laboratory Fungicide Screening for Alternaria sp.Black Spot Pathogen on Jujube in Xinjiang
[Aims] The aim of this research is to provide a theoretical basis for controlling the black spot disease in Xinjiang through laboratory fungicides screening. [Methods] Mycelium growth method and hang drop method were used to measure and compare the toxicities of 12 fungicides to Alternaria sp. [Results] The results indicated that the EC50 values of flusilazole 40% EC and oxine-copper 50% WP are both less than 1 mg/L. The EC50 values of kresoxim-methyl 50% WG, procymidone 50% WG and iprodione 50% WP are all lower than 25 mg/L. The germination of hang drop was detected as follows: 7 fungicides such as flusilazole 40% EC, iprodione 50% WP, could greatly suppress spore germination with inhibition rates over 85%. [Conclusions] Fungicides of flusilazole and oxine-copper show the best control of mycelial growth, kresoxim-methyl, procymidone and iprodione come second.
