Characteristics of new pesticides registered in China in 2023
A total of 10 new pesticides were registered in China in 2023.Among them,biopesticides accounted for 90％,while microbial pesticides accounted for 80％,indicating that the development of microbial pesticides is accelerating.All the new pesticides were registered by domestic enterprises,which reflected the rapid improvement of the pesticide manufacturing and development level in China.The nineteen new pesticide formulation products were low toxic(42％)or slightly toxic(58％),and most of their formulations were environmentally friendly.The increase in the number of new pesticides with low risk has optimized the variety structure of pesticides in China.
