[Aims]This study aims to establish a method for the simultaneous determination of active components in matrine·eugenol 0.6%SL by HPLC.[Methods]Sophoridine, matrine and eugenol in the samples were simultaneously separated and determined by gradient elution, with the mixture of methanol and 0.4%disodium hydrogen phosphate aqueous solution as mobile phase, with C18 column and DAD detector at 215 nm,and quantified by external standard method.[Results]Sophoridine, matrine, and eugenol were well separated by using this method, the linear relationship were good within the selected mass concentration range, the determination coefficients of sophoridine, matrine and eugenol were 0.9998,0.9998 and 0.9997,the relative standard deviation were 0.38%,1.00%and 0.61%,and the average recoveries were 99.6%,99.9%and 99.9%,respectively.[Conclusions]The method is simple and convenient, with good precision, accuracy and separation effect. It can be used for quality control of matrine·eugenol 0.6%SL.
