Analysis of present status of pesticide registration on sugarcane in China
Sugarcane is an important sugar crop in China,it has been affected by diseases,insect pests and weeds seriously,and chemical control is still an effective control measure.The status(before September 30,2023)of pesticide registration on sugarcane in China was summarized in this study,the registration characteristics of sugarcane herbicides,insecticides,fungicides and plant growth regulators were analyzed,from the aspects including product quantity,active ingredient,target,application method,product formulation.The production enterprises were also introduced.It is pointed out that the registration of sugarcane pesticide in China has been increasing in quantity and improving in quality.But there are some problems still existing such as limited registered products,unbalanced product varieties,high similarity of active ingredients,inadequate registered targets,and relatively single formulations.
