Field efficacy trial of new bactericide for controlling kiwifruit canker disease
[Aims]This study was conducted to give full play to the efficacy of fungicides and improve their field control effect on kiwifruit canker disease.[Methods]Field plot trials were conducted using different application methods to test the efficacy of bactericide against kiwifruit canker disease.[Results]At the dosage of 600 g a.i./ha,using the combined methods of spray, spot painting and root irrigation,FM-86 20%suspension concentrate showed an ideal control effect against kiwifruit canker disease on leaves and branches of 90.68%and 86.86%,respectively.With the reduction of dosage and simplification of application methods, the control efficacy of tested bactericide against kiwifruit canker disease showed a decreasing trend.[Conclusions]Different application methods have significant impacts on the control efficacy of bactericide in controlling kiwifruit canker disease,so the efficacy of bactericide can be increased by improving the application methods.
