Screening of bactericides to control bacterial blight caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae of plateau special Japonica rice cultivars"Chugeng"
[Aims]The aim of this study is to screen out the effective agents that can be used to control the bacterial blight of plateall special Japonica rice.[Methods]This study used antibacterial effect experiment to screen effective bactericides, and then evaluated their field control efficacy.[Results]The results showed that tetramycin,oxine-copper·tetramycin,zhongshengmycin and zinc thiazole had excellent inhibitory effect to Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae, and their EC50 values were 2.694× 10-4,3.485 × 10-4,7.682× 10-4 and 3.983 × 10-3 mg/L,respectively.[Conclusions]The control effect of tetramycin was the best in laboratory test, with curative effect of 69.31%and preventive effect of 73.81%.In the field trials, the control effect of tetramycin on Nipponbare was 31.68%,and the yield increase rate was 94.73%.The control effect on Chugeng 53 was 44.38%,and the yield increase rate was 43.44%.
