High performance liquid chromatography analysis of prohexadione calcium·(+)-abscisic acid 12%SC
[Aims]To improve the detection efficiency of prohexadione calcium·(+)-abscisic acid,a quantitative analytical method for the simultaneous detection of the active components of prohexadione calcium·(+)-abscisic acid 12%SC by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was established.[Methods]The active components of the sample were separated and determined by a Hypersil GOLD C18 column under UV wavelength at 260 nm,with methanol and acetic acid water as the mobile phase.[Results]The results showed that the linear correlation coefficients of both prohexadione calcium and(+)-abscisic acid were 1.0000,and the standard deviations were 0.038 and 0.014,respectively.The coefficients of variation were 0.37%and 0.70%,and the average recovery rates were 106.43%and 98.47%,respectively.[Conclusions]The method applied here is simple to operate, effective in separation and cost-effective,and has high precision and accuracy. It is suitable for the quality control of prohexadione calcium·(+)-abscisic acid 12%SC.
