Experimental study on inversion imaging of two-phase distribution for cryogenic fluid based on ECT technology
An eight electrode ECT imaging system has been developed, and the inversion imaging test of liquid nitrogen-its vapor has been carried out.The inversion image is basically consistent with the actual image,in which the maximum difference of liquid volume fraction between the actual and the inversion results is not more than 7%.The results verify the feasibility of ECT classical algorithm and sensor used for inversion imaging of liquid nitrogen flow.At the same time, the two factors that affect the imaging quality, namely, the shrinkage of the sensor electrode and the noise intensity of the measured capacitance, are analyzed based on the numerical experiments, and the direction of improving the inversion results is pointed out.
