Experimental study on new coal additives for W flame boiler
Affected by the normalisation of coal blending, pulverised coal boilers are prone to problems such as high carbon content in fly ash and ash coking on the heated area.Taking a 600MW class W-flame boiler as the research object,a liquid coal-fired additive was studied in its effect of use.The liquid additive spraying system was established at a suitable position in the hot primary air box of the boiler, and a 40-days experimental study was carried out to monitor and comparatively analyse the indicators of the boiler's fly ash carbon content, coking condition and boiler efficiency, and a mathematical model for economic analysis was established. The test results show that during the spraying period of the liquid additive, the carbon content of fly ash has a decreasing trend, the coking and coking off condition of the boiler has improved, and the boiler efficiency has been improved by 0.67%at the 595 MW operating condition.Considering only the energy saving gain of the unit and the blending gain, the economic benefits per tonne of additive can be about 10.7 million yuan and 40.0 million yuan respectively.
