Carbon emission of recycled lead process in"side blown lead smelting coupled with flue gas acid production"for waste lead storage batteries
Carbon emission accounting was carried out around the lead recycling process of"side blown lead smelting coupled with smelting gas acid production"for waste lead batteries. The results show that anthracite and coke mixtures as smelting reducing agents contribute 51.85%of the total carbon emissions in the sample enterprise, representing the primary source of carbon emissions. In this paper, methods to enhance the accuracy of carbon emission accounting in the recycled lead industry are further discussed, while exploring viable carbon reduction technologies and space via combing carbon emission types and critical processes. Finally, technical strategies including the development of sustainable low-carbon or zero-carbon processes, green fuel and combustion tech-nology advancement are proposed.
