Watermelon is a beloved fruit among people.In recent years,planting efficiency of watermelon has decreased,and cultiva-tion area has also shown a downward trend.Based on on-site research on current development status of watermelon industry in the Youji-ang River Valley of Baise City,problems in cultivation of watermelon in the region were analyzed,and suggestions and countermeas-ures for sustainable and healthy development of watermelon industry in the Youjiang River Valley area,were proposed.
