Relationship Between Environment and Morphology,Physiological Characteristics of Wild Corylus heterophylla in Cuo-e Mountain of Qinling Mountains
In order to study relationship between some morphological and physiological characteristics of wild Corylus heterophylla in Qinling Mountains and environment,and provide reference materials for its introduction,domestication and genetic breeding,three quadrats(habitats)were selected to investigate environmental factors and morphological and physiological indexes of Corylus hetero-phylla,at the same time,compare and study relationship between them.Results showed that,morphological indexes such as leaf size,length and width,physiological indexes such as chlorophyll content and N content,size and weight of fruit and kernel,as well as length and diameter of male inflorescence were affected by environmental factors.Number of leaf veins and thickness of bottom of fruit shell were not significantly affected by environmental factors.Shape of the fruit was inconsistent with shape of kernel.The fruit was oblate and kernel was heart-shaped.
