Narrow row and dense planting mode is advanced planting technology to increase planting density of crops and enhance crop yield,and delta-row planting mode is a planting method to realise narrow row and dense planting mode.At present,mainstream agri-cultural machinery is generally used in conventional planting mode of single-wide rows and ridges or flat crops,and there are fewer seed-ing machines for staggered delta-row planting mode in narrow rows and dense planting,especially for high-speed operation(more than 10 km/h),which,to a certain extent,impedes planting efficiency and popularisation of narrow row and dense planting delta-row planting mode.Basic contents of wide and narrow row delta-row planting pattern were described,seeding equipment used for delta-row planting in China,research progress of universities and institutes,and evaluation indexes used for delta-row planting pattern were dis-cussed and analyzed,and suggestions were made for technical application and promotion of delta-row planting mode.
