Mechanism and path of smart agriculture to promote upgrading of sericulture industry in Shaanxi Province
Rapid industrialization and urbanization have led to downscale of sericulture industry in Shaanxi Province,coupled with poor scientific and technological innovation,resulting in a declining comparative benefits and lack of market competitiveness.Therefore,use of new technologies to promote industrial upgrading has become an urgent problem to be solved.Through field investigation and Delphi method,current situation of industrial development and upgrading dilemma were understood,and mechanism of smart agricul-ture to promote upgrading of sericulture industry were analyzed.Based on this,path of smart agriculture to promote upgrading of seri-culture industry was proposed:strengthening top-level design,consolidating information infrastructure construction,strengthening per-sonnel training,developing mobile e-commerce and short video live broadcast,establishing intelligent demonstration parks,and in-creasing policy support.Results showed that smart agriculture could help sericulture industry to reduce costs,improve quality,increase efficiency,and promote industrial upgrading.
