Durban Conference and Carbon Emission Challenge for China
Recently years,with the soaring development of its comprehensive national strength,China made the world heard more about its voice and gained more Discourse Power.However,China still confronting huge pressure put by the dominant Western Countries.During the Durban Conference,three main groups named UN,Umbrella Group,and The Group of 77＋ China,played an important role,among which China is outstanding but bearing a big corresponding pressure on carbon emission reduction.China must continue to reinforce the coordination among those Emerging Developing countries and strive for the status and Discourse Power we deserve to gain.It＇s a trend of this era to construct the low-carbon society.Energy saving and emission reduction is a key component of China＇s Strategy of Sustainable Development,during which we need to consider the low-carbon economy as an opportunity of development.Meanwhile,we need to largely promote the development of clean energy technology and occupy the international strategic highland of the world economy.
