Optimization Design and Analysis of Megawatt Wind Turbine Hub
Finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench is applied to the shape optimization design of a megawatt wind turbine hub.After three times optimization,the hub is designed into a hollow spheroidal shape,the structure is more reasonable and the weight is lighter.The usage of spheroidal graphite cast iron material is reduced,and the stiffness is maximized.The results show that the optimized hub structure fully meet the design requirements of the static strength.The optimization design method is simple,can be used for the design and analysis of wind turbine hub and other mechanical parts.
