Power Increment Technology for Electrical Power System
The set of 3 papers introducing the Power Increment Technology(PIT) which inclosing DC Power Increment Technology,AC Power Increment,and their foundation principle,advantages and economic development,will be published in installments by the journal.The first installment here will have an introduction about our PIT,and first of all discloses our Virtual Six-phase Rectifier listed among DC Power Increment Technology.The test shows that a potentiality of VSR among increments of power and increments of efficiency,it is shown obviously that the VSR is more efficient than that of the common three-phase bridge rectifier.Upon the excitement of the smart powergrid technology,microgrid technology,especially the(ultra) high voltage DC power transportation,the limitation in the speed and frequency of a generator caused by the synchronous grid might be brocken by AC Power Increment Technology,then the increment of power conversion efficiency and the reduction of equipment cost are expected.And that means whole the coal power plants,hydro power plants,nuclear power plants and wind power plants can increase their power output,increase their power generation efficiency and power transportation efficiency,meanwhile their equipment capital can be reduced,if the technology of DC Power Increment and AC Power Increment are applied,and if other advanced technology of present manufactures are combined with.
