Analysis of Several Problems about Large Scale Gas Turbine Generator Protection Configuration and Operation Characteristics
Conbined Mitsubishi gas turbine generator typical configuration with Siemens gas turbine generator typical configuration,the composition of the static frequency converter for gas turbine generator was introduced as well as working principle and protection configuration firstly,then based on the variable frequency starting process,we analyzed the characteristics of variable frequency starting,so we can make it clear that the influence of generator protection caused by variable frequency starting.Based on the above discussion,we analyzed the design principle of the low frequency over current protection and SFC DC earthing protection,and give some corresponding methods which can effectively reduce the possibility of false action for differential protection,frequency protection,and reverse power protection during the variable frequency starting process of generator.This may provide references for other similar works.
